Climate change isn’t coming, it’s here! Join the NYC Economic Development Corporation and the Mayor’s Office of Climate and Environmental Justice to learn about what the City is doing to protect Lower Manhattan from climate change while enhancing the waterfront to include new public space, resilient ferry terminals, stormwater management, and accessibility. EDC and MOCEJ will co-host the Financial District & Seaport Climate Resilience Plan site walk. This walking tour will be under a mile in length, and will take place outdoors.
The tour will take place along a busy pedestrian corridor and may be difficult to navigate for those with limited mobility. Guests are encouraged to dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. Public restrooms will be available along the route.
Printed materials in Spanish and Chinese Mandarin will be available upon request.
Children are welcome, accompanied by an adult. All persons attending, including children, must have a ticket.
