Explore the fascinating history behind the “Workshop for Peace,” a collaborative effort of 11 renowned architects from around the world to build a home for the United Nations, and learn about how this ‘workshop’ reinforces and accommodates peace-building and multilateralism until this day.
All visitors 18 years and older must present a valid original government-issued photo identification for entry to the United Nations Headquarters. Children under 5 years of age are not permitted on tours.
Plan to arrive 60 minutes before your tour to allow time for the check-in and security screening with UN Security.
Guests should review the list of prohibited items on the UN's website at https://www.un.org/en/visitor-centre-new-york/page/arrival. Note that there is no bag check facility available.
