Hidden above Radio City Music Hall at Rockefeller Center, Radio Park is a half-acre rooftop garden that reimagines the role of green space in the dense urban fabric of Midtown Manhattan. Designed as a private park for building tenants, the landscape features meandering pathways, native plantings, and outdoor rooms that create a sense of retreat high above Sixth Avenue. Its position atop the Art Deco icon of Radio City establishes a striking dialogue between the natural and the built environment, demonstrating how contemporary landscape design can bring new life to historic architecture.

During OHNY Weekend, visitors will have a rare opportunity to experience this elevated landscape firsthand. Radio Park not only reveals Rockefeller Center’s continued commitment to integrating architecture, design, and public life, but also highlights how adaptive reuse and urban greening strategies can reshape the way we experience historic landmarks in the twenty-first century city.

Some areas of the park are only accessible by short sets of stairs.

Visitors must pass a security screening and show photo ID to enter.
