Open Access / Open Studios

Drop into dozens of studios and factories across the Yard’s 300-acre campus. Learn about traditional manufacturing techniques to cutting-edge technology. At registration, visitors will receive a “Buy BNY” guide so you can easily shop local from Yard-based businesses.

Special Open Access to Building 212, Suites 509 & 510

Step inside the suite before it’s built out. Chat with the real estate development team to learn about the Yard's inclusive growth through purpose-built spaces designed to support minority- and women-owned businesses while taking in incredible views.

Timed Programs (Limited Access)

Join a timed tour, panel, or information session. These programs provide a deep dive into material innovation and creative production at the Yard. At registration, visitors can sign-up for Timed Programs on a first-come, first-served basis.

Recharge with Food & Drink

Enjoy an outdoor seating area with a live DJ behind Building 77. A variety of food and drink is available for purchase from Market @77 on the ground floor and from on-site food trucks.

Visitors will enjoy historic and contemporary architecture set against the iconic waterfront – an ideal Instagram location. Attendees can venture to the Naval Cemetery Landscape for a look at the site’s natural beauty or head to Buildings 280 & 275 for family-friendly outdoor games and more live DJs.

Check-in at 141 Flushing Avenue/Building 77 or 299 Sands Street/Sands Street Gate Entrance to start exploring. Please note that only select businesses on the Navy Yard campus participate in the event. Visitors will receive a detailed visitor guide with a map upon arrival.

There are two check in points:

(1) Building 77 (141 Flushing Avenue at Vanderbilt Avenue)

(2) Sands Street Gate entrance (299 Sands Street)

The Building 77 entrance is ADA compliant and wheelchair accessible. Not all buildings on the Navy Yard campus are wheelchair accessible.

Explore the Brooklyn Navy Yard campus through free hop-on-hop-off shuttle buses running on loop across campus. Visitors can also walk through the site to take in historic and contemporary architecture and surroundings.
