Explore the many historic structures of the peninsula and learn about the important role Fort Totten played in New York City’s defense history, from the Civil War to today. This is a walking tour of the park that will begin promptly at 9am, lasting approximately two hours. Those who miss the tour group are welcome to visit the Fort Totten Visitors Center, located within the park at 502 Ordnance Road, which is open from 12-4pm and offers maps and other information for self-guided exploration.

Saturday & Sunday Tour: 9-11am; approximately 2 hours.

This is a 2-hour tour that requires extensive walking and standing for prolonged periods. Wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather.

Children are welcome accompanied by an adult. Recommended for ages 13+
