Experience the historic Fort Totten Water Battery on this walking tour led by the Urban Park Rangers. Explore a Civil War-era Fortress and learn the rich history of Fort Totten Park. This is a walking tour of the battery that will begin promptly at 1pm. Those who miss the tour group are welcome to visit the Fort Totten Visitors Center, located within the park at 502 Ordnance Road, which is open from 12-4pm and offers maps and other information for self-guided exploration.
Saturday & Sunday Tour: 1pm
Tours start promptly at 1pm. Please allow yourself 15 minutes to walk to the Visitors Center from the park entrance.
Access to the Water Battery requires stairs. No elevator is available.
Parking is available in the lot near the entrance to Fort Totten Park.
