Step inside the historic 8,000-sq. ft. Stable Building, where Henrybuilt has created a home for its iconic luxury kitchen and whole-home systems—including its Space Theory kitchen system: a streamlined, quick-ship version of the holistic kitchen systems that Henrybuilt first introduced in 2001. The Stable Building is a 1906 horse stable commissioned by Robert Gair, the inventor of the cardboard box. Constructed by Turner Construction, it was part of Gair’s industrial empire and later adapted into gallery spaces by Two Trees Management. It has a unique history from industrial utility to modern retail, reflective of DUMBO's transformation.
During OHNY Weekend visitors will learn about the building's history and architecture and experience a guided introduction to Henrybuilt's unique kitchen system. Get a glimpse into how Henrybuilt's products are conceived, developed, and crafted, from material choices to the integrated systems that define its work. Stop by to see how contemporary American craftsmanship lives within a landmark Brooklyn building, and why Henrybuilt chose this space to connect the history of making with the future of design.
