Six women suffragists built "The Peoples' Hall" to create a place where people from all walks of life could gather and hear about the issues of the day in an open forum. The acoustically superior auditorium was designed using the most advanced design technology of its day by the nation's most revered architecture firm. Shortly after its dedication the hall hosted its first concert, kicking off a proud tradition of milestone musical performances by artists ranging from Billie Holiday to Bob Dylan.

The Town Hall also played host to millions of nationwide radio listeners from 1935-1955 on the public affairs program, "America's Town Meeting of the Air." There's so much more to the story! The tour will include a stroll across the Town Hall's legendary stage, and an opportunity to learn about its exciting 2025-26 season.

Visitors must pass through a security screening for entry.

No food or drink permitted.
