Opened in 2010, Pier 62 Skatepark has become a revolutionary force in NYC skateboarding. Join NYC Skateboard Coalition Founder Ian Clarke on a guided tour of the park and uncover the history of a signature NYC subculture and the transformative power of a skate park as a public space. Skating experience not required.

Saturday Tours: 12 pm - 4 pm, tours ongoing for up to 10 people at a time

NYC Skateboard Coalition Founder Ian Clarke will be on site to give first-come, first-served tours of the park.

The guided tour will involve walking up and down a series of 2 steep ramps. Flat, grip-soled shoes are recommended.

No strollers are allowed.

No animals are allowed.

Children are welcome accompanied by an adult.
