Cornell University’s College of Architecture, Art, and Planning (AAP) will open its new New York City studio at the Tata Innovation Center at Cornell Tech on Roosevelt Island for rare public visits. The Tata Innovation Center is a first-of-its-kind building that houses a mix of companies and Cornell Tech academic teams. Designed by world-renowned Weiss/Manfredi Architecture, the building features an iconic central gallery with multi-level lounges and collaboration spaces.

The Gensler Family AAP NYC Center recently opened on the 4th Floor of the Tata Innovation Center including a 13,000-sq. ft. studio space for up to 120 students studying architecture, urban design, city & regional planning, and design technology. The space includes a gallery for exhibits and facilities for lectures, special events, and model production. With moveable walls and furniture, it is easily adaptable for various uses during and between semesters.

Explore the studio space, model fabrication facility, exhibitions of student work, and other facilities on this guided tour led by Robert Balder, Executive Director of Cornell AAP's New York City program.

All guests must submit their names in advance and show photo ID for entry.

Children ages 12+ are welcome accompanied by an adult.
