Sun, October 19th, 2025
12:00pm — 3:00pm
The Brooklyn Seltzer Museum is dedicated to promoting the effervescent history of seltzer water, located in the oldest seltzer works in New York City (a local, family-run business now in its fourth generation). The combined Museum & Factory Tour celebrates the manufacturing of seltzer, the science of seltzer, and seltzer as a cultural force in New York City and the world beyond.
Sunday Tours: Ongoing 12-3 pm, last entry 2:30 pm.
The self-guided Museum & Factory Tour explores highlights from the Museum and factory, including opportunities to spritz a seltzer siphon and enjoy the freshest, sharpest seltzer around (for those who dare). Egg creams are available for an extra cost.
Family Friendly: The Museum is full of touchable and interactive objects.
The space is one floor with no steps and wide spaces. However, the ADA-compliant bathroom is currently not available due to construction. Other restrooms will be available.
Lines are expected at this location.
Bloomberg Connects: Additional expert-curated content, including video and audio guides for this location, is available on Bloomberg Connects, the free app that connects people to arts and culture at any time, from anywhere. Explore more.
Water Works: Discover how water shapes the city, from the system of pipes that delivers 1 billion gallons of clean water into (and out of) homes daily, to the working waterfront that drove the city's economy for centuries, to the challenges of adapting 520 miles of shoreline for a wetter future.
