Inspiration Point is a nonprofit cultural arts center in the Hunts Point neighborhood of the South Bronx. It is part of the Peninsula, a new development on the site of the former Spofford Juvenile Detention Center, and provides space, resources, and opportunities for creative expression across disciplines. The tour of the facilities includes exhibitions at the Fashion Moda Modern Gallery, WALLWORKS, and the Tiffany Street Theater as well as open studios of artists in residence.

Currently on display in the theater, artist Jane Dickson, in collaboration with John "Crash" Matos, has reimagined her seminal 1980 Fashion Moda installation, City Maze. One of Jane's most iconic works, the maze was a space where local youth could explore and play in a symbolic urban labyrinth. This new City Maze revives the spirit of the original South Bronx experiment - an immersive, interactive environment born from the energy of the streets.

Saturday tours: Gallery staff will be onsite to give a guided tour of "Sensorial Fusion" the New York Latin American Art Triennial (NYLAAT) exhibition, which explores the relationship between art and architecture. The opening reception will be taking place from 6-8pm, which includes music and drinks. The open house will also include an exhibition at WALLWORKS gallery and a tour of the artist studios. In addition, Boone Avenue Walls, the community-driven street art initiative, has transformed dozens of walls just outside on Tiffany Street. Tours will be offered on a rolling basis; first-come, first-served.
