Curious about where your water comes from, or where it goes after you use it? Photographs from the new edition of the book "Waterworks" (KGP/Monolith, 2025), about the city's water system from 1840 to the present, will be on view in the studio of photographer Stanley Greenberg during OHNY Weekend. Pictures and books about other aspects of the city's infrastructure will also be on-view, and books and maps will be available for purchase.
Water Works: Discover how water shapes the city, from the system of pipes that delivers 1 billion gallons of clean water into (and out of) homes daily, to the working waterfront that drove the city's economy for centuries, to the challenges of adapting 520 miles of shoreline for a wetter future.
