Located in Gowanus, Brooklyn SolarWorks opens its rooftop to show what’s possible when solar meets city living. Designed specifically for New York’s ubiquitous flat-roof buildings, Brooklyn SolarWorks' solar canopy shows how renewable energy can fit seamlessly into dense urban neighborhoods while preserving usable outdoor space.

Visitors will step under an active solar installation and see firsthand how innovative design makes solar power possible in the five boroughs. The team will share how these systems are built, how they power homes, and why they are key to a sustainable future for NYC. Learn about the unique challenges of urban solar, from navigating historic buildings to maximizing limited roof space, and how thoughtful design overcomes them.

As a company rooted in New York City, Brooklyn SolarWorks is proud to open its doors and its rooftop space to share what they have built. Come experience a solar-powered space, enjoy views of Brooklyn, and discover how solar can transform the way New Yorkers live.

Access to the office requires climbing two flights of stairs and the roof requires an additional flight of stairs.
