Less than Two Months to Go: Open House New York Weekend is October 17-19, 2025
New Yorkers gain access to 300 special spaces for ONE weekend a year, from members-only clubs and artist studios to architectural landmarks and hard hat infrastructure tours.

August 18, 2025—In less than two months, 300 hard-to-see spaces across all five boroughs will be open to the public, largely for free. Since 2003, Open House New York Weekend (OHNY Weekend) has offered a once-a-year rare chance to see parts of the city that are often inaccessible to the average person.
Check out five of our favorite spots and activities available for the first time during this year’s OHNY Weekend, held from October 17 to 19:

- September 26: The full list of 300-plus spaces open to the public during OHNY Weekend is revealed here.
- October 3: Tickets become available for select OHNY Weekend sites that require them for safety and security. Most tickets are $7.
- October 17-19: The official weekend: The majority of the festival is free and open to the public — no advance registration or tickets are required for the majority of spaces and activities.
OHNY Weekend is produced by Open House New York, a nonprofit organization that promotes broad, unparalleled access to the city—to the places, people, projects, systems, and ideas that define New York and its future.
