6:00PM - 8:30PM
This year’s Metropolitan Summer Party takes place at Bergen, a brand-new residential development at the intersection of Boerum Hill, Park Slope, and Gowanus. Developed by Avdoo & Partners and designed by Mexican architect Frida Escobedo—also behind the new wing of The Met—alongside creative leaders from Workstead, DXA Studio, and Patrick Cullina, Bergen pays tribute to its Brooklyn surroundings with hand-laid brick facades and plans for lush interior courtyards and green rooftops that double as stormwater infrastructure.
Join us for a summer evening celebrating the city we love, and get a first look at this newly completed project before it officially opens for occupancy. Enjoy refreshments and lite bites in the lounge and outdoor terrace, tour penthouses and amenity spaces with members of the design and development team, and connect with fellow Metropolitan members who share a passion for New York City’s future.
Dress code: the theme of the night is “Urban Oasis,” think airy, easy, and summer-in-the-city style.
